The V4.0 is the power amplifier in the V-series, with the same timeless design as the rest of the products in the V-series. The V4.0 amplifier play’s with convincing power, dynamic and high precision. It really let you get closer to the "truth". It is equipped with regular RCA inputs in addition to a set of fully balanced XLR inputs. The best match is with a fully balanced preamplifier, such as the Abrahamsen V3.0. The V4.0 delivers 2 x70 Watts in 8 Ohm and doubles the output in 4 ohm. In addition you can bridge the amplifier to achieve 4 times the output power in mono. When combined with the V3.0 Pre amplifier offers a little more focus and bass control. It also enables an easy upgrade path to add 2 x V40 one for each channel which again offers more control and space around instruments + 2 x 140 Watts
